ABOUT THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL WEEK
The topic of the 2nd International Week is the Impact of Mobility on European Education. student and staff mobility is a factor crucial in shaping the contemporary landscape of higher education in Europe and will most likely remain in focus in the foreseeable future. Mobility deeply affects the internationalization of higher education standards, including the curricula, grading systems and awards. We offer an overview of the existing schemes available on the European level (mainly offered by the European Commission and its agencies), as well as point to future trends in the higher education sector. There will also be a more practical side to the meeting: an opportunity for networking on a private as well as institutional level. Finally, the participants of the International Week will have the possibility to join the sessions of the 13th International Conference Education of the 21st Century, organized by the University of Security on 22-23 October 2015 in Szczyrk. For those interested, there will be a chance to do a presentation during the conference and have a paper published in a peer reviewed post-conference monograph.
All participants will obtain a training certificate. There is also a possibility to participate in the International Week in form of a Staff Training Mobility scheme of the Erasmus programme, for which you can obtain additional funding (please contact your institutional Erasmus coordinator for more details).
